For van & motorhome travel

Know before
you park.

We’re building an app for choosing where to stay with your van or motorhome. Overnight rules, vehicle fit, prices and availability — with traceable sources.

Closed alpha in development

A camper at a quiet alpine lakeside stop
A little more certainty. A lot more freedom.

We’re building ClearCamp to bring overnight permission, vehicle fit, price and availability into one clear decision.

A clearer picture of your next stop

The right place.
For your kind of journey.

A five-star rating cannot tell you whether your van fits through the entrance. A pin on a map cannot tell you whether you can stay tonight. Those are the details we’re building around.

01

Can I stay overnight?

The conditions behind the coordinates.

We’re designing ClearCamp to bring official overnight rules and host permissions to the point of decision, with their source, last update and any uncertainty visible.

02

Will my vehicle fit?

A good place should be a good fit.

Height, length, access and personal preferences belong in the search itself. Our planned matching considers the vehicle you actually travel in.

03

Is there space, and what does it cost?

Less switching between maps, comments and websites.

We aim to combine host updates, operator feeds and recent traveller check-ins. Live information, older reports and conflicting evidence should be clearly distinguishable.

Designed around evidence

Clarity includes
what we don’t know.

Every critical fact is designed to carry its source, age and confidence. When reports disagree, we want you to see the uncertainty before you make the detour.

  1. 01Where it came from
  2. 02When it was updated
  3. 03How certain it is

Two brothers. One recurring question.

The idea began
out on the road.

Philipp & Luca RaskovicBrothers & co-founders of ClearCamp

Luca converted his own van. On a solo trip, finding a reliable place each evening became a recurring frustration. When he came back, Philipp asked: why not build a better answer ourselves?

We then spent almost two months travelling together through Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, speaking with other van and motorhome travellers every day. Different vehicles, different routes — the same gaps in the information.

Philipp leads product, strategy and partnerships. Luca focuses on camper needs, supply and product operations. We make the core product decisions together.

Closed alpha in development

From real journeys
to our first alpha.

Our field research and initial product planning are complete. We’re now building the place and source registry, data ingestion and product architecture for a closed alpha. Testing on real routes is the next milestone. We intend to grow ClearCamp as a sustainable, bootstrapped business.

What are you building first?

A closed alpha that connects source-linked place information, vehicle profiles and a clear overnight decision. Pilot testing with travellers, hosts and operators is the next step; the app is not publicly available yet.

How do you plan to use AI?

We plan to use AI to turn permitted source material into structured place information and flag conflicting updates. Each extracted fact should retain its source and date. During the alpha, we will assess extraction accuracy and missed conflicts against manually checked examples. Uncertain permission or access information should be flagged for review; the underlying source remains the authority.

What is the business model?

Our planned model combines free core access, paid decision-support features and commissions on completed bookings. Campsites, motorhome stopovers and private hosts are part of the intended offering.
